Grootdraai Dam is a major water reservoir in South Africa, located on the Vaal River near Standerton, Mpumalanga. It's a combined gravity and earth-fill dam, completed in 1982, and plays a crucial role in supplying water to industries and power stations, particularly Sasol's Secunda plants and various Eskom power stations.
Bloemhof Dam is a dam in South Africa. It was originally known as the Oppermansdrif Dam when under construction during the late 1960s. It is located at the confluence of the Vaal River and the Vet River, on the border between the North West and Free State provinces
